- A Tribute to James Hepworth On His 85th Birthday -
What a privilege to live
To be old as a tree,
A well-spent life conscience clear,
Traveling on to Eternity.
We all come here, a mission to fill
And Uncle Jim has done it well
He is leaving behind a score or more,
Children as numerous as sands on the shore.
There is no greater monument
That man can build on earth
He struggled hard and kept the faith
Since the morning of his birth.
And so today at eighty fifth
We lay our garlands at his feet
Uncle Jim, hold up your head,
Your life has been complete.
